Tony and Connie Koeck bought BRIX in September 2016. As previous patrons of BRIX 340, they were disappointed when it closed earlier that summer. At the time, Tony was working in the financial industry and looking to do something different after 40 years in banking. BRIX was a perfect fit for the couple who enjoy entertaining and serving others .
Tony eventually retired from his day job and now makes BRIX his full-time job. Connie still works at Waunakee High School as a special needs para-educator. She also volunteers as a NICU Cuddler at Meriter Hospital. You will usually find them at BRIX welcoming you at the door, asking you to make yourself at home.
